Born in Memphis, Tennessee, REAL’s journey in music began at a very early age. Encouraged by his mother who would wake him to perform at the late dance parties, REAL’s musical influences span all genres, and Country. TV shows like Soul Train and American Bandstand was not to be missed each week.

Inspired by close family members, including his mother, aunts and uncles, he was introduced to the soulful sounds of The Dells, The Delfonics, The Temptations, Earth, Wind & Fire, Barry White, Tina Turner, Luther Vandross Teddy Pendergrass, Sly and The Family Stone, and many others.

For REAL music is more than just sound – it’s an experience. His vision for the future goes beyond creating great songs; he wants audiences to feel something profound.
